Frequently asked questions
Do I need an internet connection?
You can download maps for offline use in advance from the Offline maps screen, then use the app without a signal. An initial connection is needed to download map data.
The map won't load
Check your internet connection, or download the area for offline use before you travel. If a downloaded area seems incomplete, try downloading it again on Wi-Fi.
Location isn't showing
Make sure location permission is granted for Ring Guide in your device Settings. The app works without it, but it can't show your position on the map.
Is my data private?
Yes. Ring Guide has no account and collects no personal data. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I suggest a place or report an error?
